Linda Powell

Linda is a Contract Specialist with the Calgary Regional Community Board, Persons with Developmental Disabilities branch.  In her 18 years with the disabilities branch of the provincial government, Linda has held several positions dealing with developmentally disabled adults, their families, service providers and the funding for various programs.

She has volunteered with the Ayudamos Foundation for the past several years both locally and in Guatemala on both of the housing projects.  She joined the Board of Directors for Ayudamos in 2008.

Linda’s previous volunteer endeavors have been the building and operation of a Ranch program for youth at risk in the Calgary area. 

As a Life Long Learner, Linda has taken courses in leadership, management, supervision, equine therapy, forensic studies, Latin dancing, yoga, stained glass, welding and ceramics.
